Agricultural centre situated on a hill to the south-east of Tortona. Carezzano stretches over the hillsides of the valleys between Rio Cornigliasca and Rio Castellania streams. This village is made up of two centres: Carezzano Maggiore and Carezzano Superiore, the last one in a very beautiful panoramic location. For the entire medieval period and until the eighteenth century it was part of the Bishopric. In 1408 Carezzano Maggiore and Carezzano Minore were given as a fief to the Rampini family from Sant’Alosio.

- the church of Santa Maria Assunta e Sant’Eusebio; situated in Carezzano Maggiore, it was enlarged in 1564 and embellished in 1947.
- the church of Sant’Eusebio; situated in Carezzano Superiore, it was rebuilt in 1831, in consequence of the destruction of the former church by an earthquake in 1828.
- the oratory of San Rocco: situated in Carezzano Maggiore, it dates back to 1630.
- 15th and 16th century buildings located in the old town centre of Carezzano Maggiore, seat of the municipal administration.
