Tortona hills welcome anyone wishing to discover the secrets and the food & wine typical products of this unpolluted territory, untouched by the frenetic rituals of daily urban life. In both old and modern cellars the ancient usage of grape-pressing is repeated and excellent DOC wines are produced.
Those visitors passionately fond of art should visit the Museum of the renowned painter Giuseppe Pellizza, author of the famous picture ‘Quarto Stato’, where he portrayed the working class in an evocative manner.

This territory stretches over eastern Piedmont, close to the wine zones of Lombardy, Liguria and Emilia. Typical borderland, place of invasions, strategic crossroads of ancient peoples, it groups ten hill municipal districts, each with a cultural, artistic and naturalistic heritage.
